Dr. Uma Chandran is an Omics Scientist and Entrepreneur passionate about advancing personalized health and wellness through omics-driven innovations. As the Founder of Scinome Consulting & Training Services, she leads initiatives that empower biological research by transforming complex omics data into actionable insights.
Her mission is to bridge the gap between biology and technology, driving discovery through specialized consulting, targeted training programs, and translational projects that support both research and product development. She is particularly motivated by the potential of genomics and systems biology to inform precision wellness solutions that integrate modern science with traditional knowledge.
With over 10 years of post-Ph.D. experience in both academia and industry, Dr. Uma is committed to innovation, education, and translational impact - shaping a future where personalized, integrative healthcare becomes the norm.
She founded Scinome in January 2025.
Deepthi holds a Master’s in Computational Biology (CADD) from Kerala University, Kariavattom Campus. Her expertise includes computer-aided drug design, Immunoinformatics and Python Programming.
Kavya holds a Master’s in Bioinformatics from MACFAST, MG University, Kerala.Her expertise includes R programming, transcriptomics and NGS data analysis.
Aswani holds an M.Tech in Computational Biology from Pondicherry University. Her expertise includes R programming, Proteomics, Network biology, and Multi-omics data analysis.
Alina holds a Master’s in Biomedical Genetics with specialization in Genetic Counseling from Vellore Institute of Technology. She is a BGCI-certified Genetic Counselor. Her expertise includes genetics course content development, facilitation, and genetic counseling.
Jasee holds a Master’s in Computational Biology (Genomics) from Kerala University, Kariavattom Campus. His expertise includes genomics and metagenomics data analysis.
Hari holds a Master’s in Computational Biology from Kerala University, Kariavattom Campus. His expertise includes RNA-Seq data analysis and multi-omics research workflows.
Sachin is a Medical professional with expertise in pharmacovigilance, healthcare research, and market intelligence. He holds an MBBS from the International Higher School of Medicine, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
